If you already have a vehicle and wish to save on the price of the tour but still receive all the excitement the adventure has to offer, then this option may be for you. This tour is identical to the Grand Canyon Whitewater Rafting Adventure Tour that departs from your hotel but allows you take on the task of driving yourself to the Adventure.

You will need to arrive at the Whitewater Rafting starting point in Peach Springs, AZ by 7:30 am. You will board a bus that will take you on an amazing driving adventure to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. You will arrive at the base at approximately 8:45 am. You will meet your guide and don your life vest as you receive your safety instructions. At 9:00 am, you and your family will board the raft and begin your 47 mile trek through one of Nature’s Seven Wonders riding several rapids along the way. There are several stops along your trek for photo or swimming opportunities. At approximately 11:30 am, you will stop at Travertine Waterfalls which is a warmer natural spring water fall that flows year round. There you will enjoy climbing the waterfall and eating lunch before heading further into the canyon. After lunch you will continue further down the mighty Colorado River on your trek to your final destination of Grand Canyon West.

At the end of your rafting tour, you will find a helicopter waiting your arrival to lift you out of paradise and bring you back to reality at the top of the Grand Canyon’s West Rim. There you will be met by your bus driver who will bring you back to your vehicle in Peach Springs. It’s the same full adventure at a reduced price to you.

Total time of tour from arrival at Peach Springs until your return to Peach Springs is approximately 11.5 hours. Total one way from the Las Vegas Strip is 158 miles. Currently it’s about a three hour drive to the starting point.
