Arrive at the Hualapai Lodge where you will be taken down the only road that goes to the bottom of the Grand Canyon to the most celebrated river in the West, the mighty Colorado River! At the river you will receive your life jacket, water tight camera box, and safety instructions before boarding your 8 person raft with an expert Hualapai River Runner Guide.
Enjoy 
the thrill and fun of several class 3 and 4 rapids. Experience 40 miles of excitement and feel the relentless power of the Colorado River where you will shoot through rapids like "Dragon Tooth" and stop at Tavertine Canyon for a hike to the Tavertine Waterfalls. Along your journey, you may see Big Horn Sheep, Wild Burros, Mustangs, Horses, and newly planted Condors. Enjoy lunch and refreshments along the way.
After your White Water Adventure, a helicopter will be waiting on the banks of the Colorado River to take you 4,000 feet up to the Canyon’s Edge! Visit the Hualapai Indian souvenir shop at the Grand Canyon West Airport Terminal before your return by van to fabulous Las Vegas. |
