Arrive at the American Indian Hualapai Lodge where you will be taken down the only road that goes to the bottom of the Grand Canyon to the most celebrated river in the West, the mighty Colorado River! At the river you will receive your life jacket, water tight camera box, and safety instructions before boarding your 8 person raft with an expert Hualapai Indian River Runner Guide.
Enjoy the thrill and fun of several class 3 and 4 rapids. Experience 40 miles of thrills and excitement and feel the relentless power of class 3 and 4 rapids! You will shoot rapids like "Dragon Tooth" and stop at Tavertine Canyon and hike to the Tavertine Waterfalls and enjoy lunch and refreshments along the way. Along your journey you may see Big Horn Sheep, Wild Burros, Mustangs, Horses, and newly planted Condors.
After your White Water Adventure, you will be met by helicopter on the banks of the river and ascend the Canyon cliffs 4,000 feet! Visit the Hualapai Indian souvenir shop at the Grand Canyon West Airport Terminal before your return airplane flight to fabulous Las Vegas. |
