Then, a brief but thrilling off road adventure into the Ancient Valley a wonderland of mysterious rock formations created by earth movement over 500 million years. We explore and search for petrified wood, the remains of fossilized trees hidden in this strange part of the desert. You may keep a piece of petrified wood as a souvenir.
