This exclusive popular tour enables you to experience through the eyes of its inhabitants, the Hualapai Indians, the raw beauty Canyon! Travel across the newly built Hoover Dam Bridge and through the rugged desert wilderness en route to America's most spectacular natural wonder, the Grand Canyon. This tour takes you off the main highways through 21 miles of one of the world's largest and oldest Joshua Tree Forests. Enjoy views of high cliffs and canyon walls as you wind your way through this vast desert before arriving at the Hualapai Indian Reservation.
Proud of their heritage, always respectful of nature, the Hualapai Indian Tribe will show you a part of the Canyon that has been virtually undisturbed by modern times. Gain an understanding of our Native Americans, today and yesterday, their pride and self-determination, their commitment to tradition, family, and to the preservation of our environment. From a view 3,500 feet above the mighty Colorado River you will enjoy an authentic barbeque lunch prepared by the Hualapai Indians. You will experience breathtaking views of the Canyon's West Rim at Eagle and Guano Point where you will see evidence of more than ten million years of erosion and have plenty of photo taking opportunities. The unique, ageless beauty of the cliffs is typified by the ominous Thunderbird image that nature has etched into the canyon wall.
(Ours is the only bus service that travels inside the Grand Canyon West Rim Park with the same bus you arrived on. This bus is parked at each point of interest with the air conditioning running along with a cooler filled with bottled water. Also our passengers can leave their belongings onboard, so that they can enjoy the scenery.)
Enjoy a continental breakfast served on board on the way to the West Rim of the Canyon. Your exclusive tour guide will be there to answer any questions you have about the history of Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Canyon. Once you arrive to the West Rim of the Canyon, by pass the hassle of the long wait at the shuttle lines and travel from point to point on the same luxury bus you arrive in. Complimentary bottled water will be provided for you on the bus throughout the day. Not only will you save time, but make it back into town before most of the other tour buses.
