ONLY $199 per person

Begin your morning with a complimentary continental breakfast served in Beatty, your first stop on your adventure through the magnificent Mojave Desert. Next, visit the amazing Scotty's Castle, a Moorish-style landmark, where your costumed castle guide will take you back to a century long ago! After your 60 minute guided castle tour, you will have 30 minutes of free time to explore the Castle area and enjoy a complimentary picnic lunch served on the grounds of Scotty's Castle. Prospector "Death Valley Scotty" claimed that this elaborate Spanish-style mansion was built by gold from his fictitious mine, when in reality it was the 1920's vacation home of his wealthy friends.
You will travel to the Ubehebe Crater, the remains created from a volcanic eruption so violent the volcano is missing! The Crater is nearly 1/2 mile across and 800 feet deep. More than 3,000 years ago the desert silence was shattered by a massive volcanic explosion caused by the violent release of underground steam pressure. When the cinders and dust settled, this 800 ft deep crater remained. Then it's on to Furnace Creek Ranch Museum where you can learn about many events throughout history that made Death Valley the diversified place that it is today.

After your museum visit, your adventure continues to Badwater, where you will view from a pier the lowest point below sea level in the western hemisphere (-282 feet below sea level). Native Americans have called Death Valley home for at least 10,000 years where Great Blue Herons circle above spring-fed pools filled with tiny fish that sparkle like silver dollars. Don't be fooled by Death Valley's facade, for her beauty is not at all lifeless! As you leave the park through Mud Canyon, your tour is complete with a stop at Rhyolite Ghost Town. As a special memento of your adventure, you will receive a Death Valley Explorer Certificate!
